The Sol & Luna gardens are
a feast for the eyes and the senses. They extend all over the property,
winding around the bungalows, the restaurant and the ranch. Whether
it is the line of white margaritas that greet you as you enter the
inner courtyard, the rows of purple salvia that accompany you as
you approach the bungalows, or the circle of red fuchsia that edges
your private terrace - wherever you are, you have the garden near
you. The variety of plants and flowers have become a mini-eco system,
attracting an assortment of both common and uncommon birds. At least
30 different species have been observed in the garden, including
several types of hummingbirds, endemic to this region, as well as
Peruvian sierra finches and black-backed grosbeaks.
