For tandem flights it is not necessary to have any previous experience, nor any knowledge of aviation in general.

The instructors of Club Viento-Sur are expert flyers and have obtained their licences as official paragliding instructors in Europe. Franz Schilter, an owner of Hotel Sol & Luna and a founder of the Adventure Club Viento-Sur is considered to be one of the top pilots in the world. He has broken several records, one of which is a world record for a tandem flight in Chile.

The paragliding equipment of Viento-Sur is of the most professional brands and includes the latest technology (GPS and radio-communication). The paragliders are checked and double-checked before every flight. During the flight the pilot is continously in contact with the home-base.
